A couple days ago I got my

Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-54-760S.

And even though I love the machine, right out the box it says that the System  temp is 80+ degrees Celsius even though the cpu temp and gpu temp is cool. Idk if did something wrong or is this a problem with the manufacturers ,  but this resolved. Pls help

@DB211 system temperature is from the PCH chipset. It should not be that high if you don't have other peripheral devices plugged in like USB mouse/keyboard/ethernet cable and the laptop is idling.

This laptop is designed to run hot and has an OS shutdown temp of 110C, make sure that Predator Sense CoolBost is turned ON so that the cpu/gpu fans compensate automatically for the temperature listed below, which are taken from the Acer PH315-54 SG cpu and gpu temps and fans speeds which this laptop reaches. Good luck all and hope this helps you out.

It is normal for the PCH to be like that because there is no heatsink on it.

hey @AnhEZ28 I want i want an opinion like something seems a lil fishy you know what I mean like I started i started and put the laptop in my bios drained all the charge then started charging why the dedicated GPU gpis at 55 and like the cpu is just running at 66 does it have something to do with the bios version of my predator ph 315 54 bios v1.12

Update the bios to the last PH315-54 bios version 1..15 and if you are using the oem WD M.2 SSD drive fitted by Acer update the firmware to the Acer supplied version v61507100 for the WD drive as doing both of these updates will quicken the M.2 SSD and make your laptop chipset and security function allot better. Also, make sure that all Win-11 optional updates are done including any Insyde firmware that is specific to your PH315-54 that Win-11 has and that you have the GeForce Experience software installed and you play your games through the is software with the NVidia settings for your RTX gpu. Also have a look at this excellent guide “Windows 10/11 optimization guide for gaming” at Windows 10/11 optimization guide for gaming — Acer Community, good luck and hope this helps you out.
