Unable to wake Aspire E15 from sleep mode since 2019

I am finally furious enough to try and fix this annoying and apparently common problem. I can send it to sleep using Fn+F4, or it will go to sleep after being closed. I have tried tapping F4, Fn+F4, holding either one, tapping the power button, clicking and moving the mouse, or pressing any key. The ONLY thing that remedies the problem is holding the start button down and doing a hard restart. When attempting to fix this with another post on here, the Alt+F10 didn't open any sort of box, trying to get to the advanced troubleshooting page did nothing, offered nothing. I resorted to Microsoft help and was directed here. Where there is no chat assistance without a fee. I just want my computer to work as it is designed, and I am angered and shocked that with the length of time this has been an issue that a more simple fix hasn't been presented with a SIMPLE tutorial or an update in years.

Can someone please explain it to me like I'm five how to do the supposed BIOS update or another fix, ( NOT interested in changing settings to "workaround" the problem when the computer should be doing what it is designed to do in the first place). Please do not link me to the one solution that offers two options, one to hook it up to another monitor or how to do it while using the built-in monitor on the laptop, or if so please break it down into baby steps. I have tried following that tutorial and the instructions literally do NOT lead where they claim they do on my Windows10 device.

I am sorry for sounding aggressive, I am extremely frustrated and perplexed that this is even a problem, much less one that an update or free repair isn't offered, (to my knowledge) to fix a problem that should have never existed in the first place. Thank you for any assistance in finally getting my computer to work the way it is suppossed to.

It might help to reveal your full E15 model number. For example, E5-576? E5-553? E5-521? There are dozens of E15 models. Sometimes it's as simple as changing function key behavior in the BIOS. Sometimes not. Sometimes changing the power button settings to all sleep mode fixes the issue. Sometimes not. Operating system & laptop hardware aren't perfect yet. Lot's of annoyances yet. Some more or less annoying than others depending on my mood.
