Hi,
I have noticed odd behaviour with the battery of my Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52 laptop recently.

For some reason, whenever I am charging the laptop it can only go up to 99%, after which Windows claims that there is 99% available and it is charging. The Battery Percentage Icon widget, Hardware Info and BatteryInfoView both support this with the former showing I have 99.0% and both others reading at 99.4%. However, once I plug the laptop out it stays at 99% for quite some time (approximately 20 minutes to half an hour) before *rising* to 100% briefly and then decreasing at a normal rate.

I mostly keep the laptop on charge but do need to use it on battery relatively regularly, during which it depletes at a rate of around 40% an hour once it is at 100%.

Any idea what might be going on here?

EDIT: I have just reinstalled the battery driver with a full shutdown instead of the recommended restart and it's now at 100%. Not entirely sure if that was a reliable fix or not, only time will tell I guess.
