I recently updated to Windows 11 and my PC stopped detecting my headset being plugged in. I have Astro A10s with a single jack. I never had any issues prior to the update. I did a wipe to get back to Windows 10 and I'm still having the same issue. My PC doesn't register my headset at all. The audio is coming through the headset, but the mic is being picked up from the built-in webcam. I updated all drivers with driver easy, tried to troubleshoot, looked for the device. NOTHING! I'm so frustrated. Has anyone been able to fix this issue?

I'm using an Acer Nitro AN515-53 with Intel Core i5-8300H

Please please any help is much appreciated!

My bet is the realtek console is bawked, did you used to have a pop up asking what you have plugged in? I'm on mobile now so don't have the path to hand, but it usually lives somewhere like program files - realtek

It's also worth checking to see if the of is just transparently not activating the mic, When you plug it in, open the old sounds console by right clicking the bottom right volume icon and hitting sounds. Head to the input tab and tap the mic to see if any of the inputs jump . Hopefully they do and you can just select it as the default device
