Nitro 5 AN515-53 What do I do with a laptop that I am definitely not selling once I stop using it?

I have an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53 and I have been looking for a new device recently. I would sell it, but the laptop is missing 2 keys, performs poorly, fans are constantly running at 5000+ rpm, and the battery life is probably really low cause it hasn't been unplugged for 8 months. How do I get rid of it without throwing it out (cause I simply don't have the heart to) when I get a new PC?

You need to replace the keyboard if the keys are damaged or not working, the part number should be on the reverse of your OEM keyboard so look there as you can buy the keyboard separately on the web, as Acer only

    • US and many other languages the type keyboards of the “UPPER CASE ASSY - IMR BLACK FOR 1050 (N17PG0/PG1) W/Keyboard LG5P_A52BRL LG5P Internal 15 Standard 103KS Black US International Game Legend, Power, Dish, Red BL, SurFacePrint + WASD (NK.I1513.06B) part #: 6B.Q3MN2.001
    • Or for the UK laptop the “UPPER CASE ASSY - IMR BLACK FOR1050(N17PG0/PG1) W/Keyboard LG5P_A52BRL LG5P Internal 15 Standard 104KS Black UK Game Legend, Power, Dish, Red BL,  SurFacePrint + WASD (NK.I1513.06Y) part #: 6B.Q3MN2.011

With the fans they are probably spinning at full speed because the vents need cleaning out, and the CPU/GPU need repasting as the laptop is running too hot or the fans are damaged and not working at full capacity. The battery is the same if it has a low charge life, you need to replace the battery with the oEM suitable batteries of either a Simplo AC14B7K 3320 mAh or an LG AC14B8K 3220 mAh as these are your solutions to get this laptop working 100% and to get a good resale price for your Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53.
