Hi there,

Please, I really need some help. I have tried to troubleshoot my issue in a lot of different ways. I tried to install the chipset provided by Acer and followed every tutorial but I am still having the same issue with my camera (webcam).
I have an Acer Swift 3 SF314-57 and it seems that the camera is not connected anymore. The driver is not installed in the device manager and I am not able to solve the issue. It was working fine until a few days ago, so I really don't understand what is wrong.

All the permission are ON, everything is enabled, but the camera driver is just not visible in the Device Manager and, as a consequence, I get the error code: 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>.

Is there someone that can help me, please? I think I am losing my mind on this one honestly.

The camera sits behind an internal USB port. If that data going over that port gets corrupted or hidden, the system either thinks there is no camera or thinks there's an unknown device connected instead of a camera. Many times over the last few months we have heard reports from users who have these symptoms, usually just after a Windows Update is installed. Sometimes they fix themselves with a reboot, sometimes with an another update, sometimes reinstalling chipset drivers gets it, sometimes nothing seems to work. Do you see any errors or warnings in Device Manager at all?

    Hi @Gloria16,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.
