I have an Aspire A515-43 laptop. My location shows as Ohio instead of Florida even though I set FL.

I have confirmed that my location shows Florida on my computer, but when I am on a shopping or support website, the website thinks I am in Ohio.  Any ideas on how I can fix this?  Thanks!

The shopping & support websites usually have an option to change the Ohio zipcode to the Fla zipcode. However, if your  website browser (for example, Edge, FireFox, Internet Explorer) security settings are set too high and erase what are called website  'cookies' that remember your Fla zipcode, then everytime you visit these shopping or support sites you will have to change the zipcode.

    Hi @Soubelle1996,

Is there any VPN running on the system.

Thanks, JackE.  I use the Chrome browser.  I do have to change my location on shopping and support websites.  It gets aggravating.  I want my computer to show that I am in Vero Beach, FL so I don't have to change my location on each website I visit.

What websites are you visiting? I'll test them with my browser to see what zipcode they detect for me.

Thanks, JackE.  Amazon Shopping just sent me a message that someone is trying to log on to my account from Ohio.  It was me trying to log in from Florida.

Who are you paying for internet access? A new internet provider in Florida? Or the same internet provider you had in Ohio?
