nitro 5 AN515-57 Why my GPU clock runs at 2000+ rpm even when it is showing idle(0% utilization)?

I recently bought Acer nitro 5 AN515-57. The issue is even when I am not using any GPU intensive app and the GPU is essentially inactive(0% utilization) its fan still runs at 2000+ rpm at around 40C temperature. I want to ask if this is normal or something is wrong with my GPU. Also, I am sure it is affecting my battery life as I am getting barely 2hrs on a full charge even when watching downloaded videos on airplane mode.

@EmaadAhmed both fans must run at the same time even though the GPU is idle. Gaming laptop doesn't last very long but you can reduce the battery consumption but switching to power saver mode, reduce the brightness, and closing backgrounds apps.
