Yesterday I got some hair product in my keys. Specifically the lower right hand keys (arrow keys and numpad area). Within a few minutes I noticed some of my keys (not all were malfunctioning) Specially the a and 1 keys would work maybe 30% on and off and my backspace key would backspace and then type an = immediately after. I bought a new keyboard thinking it wasn’t a big deal. But, today, when turning on my laptop I found out my power button no longer works meaning I have no way of accessing my computer. I was wondering if there was a way I could turn on the laptop or replace the keyboard entirely without having it get it professionally repaired. I need the laptop functioning ASAP because i have 3 online classes this week.

The model is a 2019 acer predator Helios 300
the model number is N1812

@Hotmama11 you will need to replace the whole plamrest that has the keyboard installed. The is another method but do at your own risk because you have to be careful not to damage the motherboard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsisRlG_buk. You can take a small piece of metal, flat head screwdriver, or tweezer to short the two left side pin for powering the laptop on.

Thank you and have a nice day!
