This is normal when a client computer (your laptop) is using a browser to enter information that must be sent to,  accepted by and stored in a remote server computer (the website's computer).

At times when the remote server is busy and can't immediately accept your typed information, your typing it appears to freeze. It even happens quite frequently on this ACER community forum when typing information in the "Leave a Comment' box when the ACER community servers are busy.

To complicate matters, Edge and Chrome are memory hogs that can bog down a client computer.  This is why I use FireFox browser since it seems to be more efficent like the old Internet Explorer.

If typing is normal speed and does not freeze when using an application like NotePad, then your client laptop is fine. The  browsers and the website servers are the problem.
