    Hi,
No, you have a different Gen CPU in your model, i5-2450m is a Sandy bridge CPU, so you can not upgrade with i5-2450m.

No the Aspire 5332 comes with a Socket P - Penryn type CPU that its lowest spec is the Celeron T3000 or Pentium T4300 or you could upgrade to the more powerful Core 2 Duo like either the series T6, T8 or even the T9. What I would suggest is for you to upgrade to the Core 2 Duo T9300 - 2 core, 2 thread at 2.5Ghz, FSB 800MHz at 6MB L2 cache with a 35W TPD as that will improve the performance of this 2009 laptop but, the best is to use an SSD 2.5” drive and upgrade the RAM to its max of 4GB with the allowable PC2-5300 DDR2-667 200pin SDRAM SODIMM memory type that will make this laptop workable with Win-10 just if that is what you want to do?
