PCI-e Gen4 on Nitro 5 AN515-45

I have a Nitro 5 AN515-45, is it PCI-e Gen4 compatible?
I read about laptops having only 2 lanes and therefore support only half of the speed of the SSD. Is that also true for this model?

Hi,
Yes, PCIe Gen4 SSDs are backward compatible and will work in your laptop but will run at PCIe Gen3 speeds.

@TheDan only Nitro 5 Intel 11th gen or newer gen model such as AN515-56, AN515-57 support PCIe gen 4.
