Half screen of Acer ED270R goes darker than usual, any way of fixing?

So I was playing a game in the monitor from my xbox console, when all of a sudden the screen goes darker than usual (not completely black)

Any way of fixing it? Have in fact determined that it was the monitor who had the problem, and have tried the unplugging and pressing power buttons, doesn't help.

Monitor self test,

1. Power OFF the unit.
2. Unplug all the cables.
3. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
4. Turn ON the unit and check.
