Just a heads up, making security headlines today are a large set of major bug issues found with the InsydeH20's UEFI software. Some with security ratings as high as 9.8/10, which basically means nearly as bad as it gets. There are flaws for local attackers and for remote attackers. Here's some article links:

According to the articles, Acer has yet to give the security researchers a response. Acer really needs to update as many of its products as possible, including laptops and desktops older than 1 year. It's immoral to let high end machine$ become sitting ducks to attackers with Predator logo broadcasting their vulnerability to any nefarious eyes. Let's hope that Acer takes this as seriously as they should.
