AN515-55 15.6 won’t show any signs of life after I changed my fans

My CPU fan started to spin slower and about two weeks ago I noticed that my laptop was started to make a weird noise. I checked my CPU’s RPM and it was down to 300 RPM at max speed. I ordered new fans and haven’t touched it since. I received my new fans today and changed them both while I was at it (GPU fan was spinning at around 5500 RPM on max speed).
Before I changed my fans, I unplugged the battery and when I was done, I realized it wasn’t pulled out all the way through? I have ADHD and I was very excited to change the fans so I surely didn’t notice… I changed the fans and all, it went well.
I replugged in the battery in hopes that everything would be okay anyways and…nothing. I plug my laptop in and there’s no lights. I removed the under case once again and check everything, I even removed the battery and replaced it in. I tried running my laptop without the battery while connected to the wall and still nothing. Did my motherboard short circuit..?
I needed to postpone my projects because of the low RPMs and now I’m genuinely freaking out since this probably means that I lost everything.
If the motherboard did short circuit, is there a way I can have it replaced? Or can I buy one myself?
Please help me!! 😭

@sadkermit try to do a power reset by unplugging the battery and hold the power button for about 30 secs without the charger plugged in. Or you can disconnect the new fans and try to power on.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

Hi, thank you so much for replying to this!

For the power reset, should I unplug the battery, hold power for 30 seconds, replug in the battery and test if it turns on? If so, nothing worked even if I plug in the charger afterwards.
I’ve tried reconnecting the old fans last night and sadly nothing happened with that as well…

@sadkermit for the power reset, disconnect the battery and the charger. After that, you can plug the battery back in and try.
