I turned on my nitro 5, and all I saw was text saying “no bootable device”. So I opened BIOS and I saw my ssd serial and model number I looked up and tried many methods. I tried to reinstall windows, but I couldn’t find my ssd to install windows on. I tried to restore default settings in BIOS, but that didn’t work either. I tried to uninstall and reinstall my ssd and that didn’t work and im honestly going insane I need this laptop to work and im not much of a tech-savvy guy, so any help will be much appreciated. Some people mentioned a pinhole on the bottom, I don’t think my model has it because I have a AN515.

See this guide " How to Fix a No Bootable Device Error on Windows 10"  as this subject has been covered extensively here on this forum.

Note: A “no bootable device” error on a Windows 10 laptop can be a sign that urgent maintenance is required. Keeping your laptop well maintained with regular system updates and a scheduled file backup can help you, especially if your hardware has failed and you need to reset Windows to factory settings. Of course, if a faulty or a broken drive is causing these issues then check and replace the drive.

    Hi @Wirebud

Are you installing a Windows OS using a flashdrive?

    If so,

    1. Copy your Laptops Intel IRST Driver (unzipped it first) together your Windows 11 installation directory.

    2. Boot on the Flashdrive.

    3. Load the driver (Intel IRST Driver)when your at stage of "Choosing where to install Windows."

    4. Direct it to this particular file:

    5. The Driver would then be installed and your SSD/HDD should now be visible.

    Hope that helps.
