Hi, my monitor VG270U Pbmiipx has an M270KCJ-K7E panel wich is famous for very dim on some acer monitors. For a bunch of monitors Acer releases firmware updates for solve this issue, but obviously only for models with USB for user-friendly update.
Hovewer I have a skill to disassemble my monitor and flash directly it through external programmer. It would by very handy if Acer release firmwares for this kind of monitors too.
My particular has a main board 715G9400-M01-001-005K with firmware V0.03 from 2020-11-06.
Tried my luck with available firmware from XV272UV, but this wasn't work, seems it has a different controller.

Yes, just for comparision I installed "Lux Light Meter" on my phone and tested two monitors on white color with 100% brightness.
My old VG270Ubmiipx can achieve 476 Lux, but new VG270UPbmiipx can only 246 Lux.
Yes, I know that is not a precise measure, but it is okay for compare two monitors. Both monitors advertised as 350nit in SDR mode, but in reality they has a huge differens :(
Similar problem with another monitor was described in this article https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/acer/nitro-xv272u-kvbmiiprzx and it can be solved by new firmware.

What exactly you want to see? Two monitors side-by-side on a one photo? It is rather difficulty now, as the both secured on table mount stands on different tables.

PS: I wonder, is there on this forum someone from Acer or only regular users who try help each other?

Only regular users. We can sometimes get a moderator to step in and help, but they are pretty constrained as to what they can do.
