Good day everyone,

It seems the battery on my ACER SWIFT SF315-52 has died as it stays on 0% charge level no matter how long I keep the power cable connected. The second the power cable is unplugged the computer
shuts down. Is there any troubleshooting I can do to fix this issue, or the only chance is to replace the battery?

I searched for battery replacement but the ones I found are all 15.2 or 14.8V. However, the voltage on the bottom stickers on my laptop is reading 19V - 2.37A.

Would appreciate any assistance on this regard.

There is a battery reset pinhole on the bottom of your laptop. Try this: power down and disconnect everything including the charger. Use something like a bent paperclip to press and hold the reset button under that pinhole for 15-30 seconds. Release the button and wait for 15-30 minutes then plug just the charger back in. Wait until it shows a full battery then turn it on and test. If the issue is corruption within the battery's 'smarts' it should clear it.

Thanks @billsey for the suggestion. I've tried the proposed solution but unfortunately, the batter is still showing 0% and as soon as I unplug the power cable the laptop turns off.

The voltage on the sticker isn't the battery voltage, it's the charger voltage. Acer's part number for the correct battery is: KT.0040G.012. Do some searching on that to see how much they go for and how available they are.
