Laptop Specs - Acer Nitro 5(AN515-55), Intel i5 10th Gen, NVIDIA 1650Ti, 8 GB RAM. (2020 edition I suppose, might be 2019 don't remember).

This occurred right after I installed and then uninstalled Pop! OS onto my device and I may have altered a few of the BIOS settings to enable the OS install. I also disabled secure boot.

Soon after, I had to remove Pop! OS because it did not meet some of my requirements.

After this, I lost access to the BIOS menu but since my Windows boots right up when I turn my laptop on, I did not bother getting back access to the BIOS menu. By "lost access" I mean,

  1. Pressing hotkey(in my case F2) or any other function key during boot leads to a constant black screen where the laptop screen remains frozen without anything on the screen. I've to force shutdown by pressing the physical power button and restart to get into windows.

  2. Going through the Advanced Startup Options and pressing on BIOS/EFI option also puts it into the same state as pressing hotkeys during boot.

Is there anyway to get back access to BIOS?

Cheers and thanks in advance.
