Aspire A517-52 BSOD ISSUES AGAIN AND POOR SERVICE

I have been having BSOD issues more or less since I bought my machine direct from Acer. (sept 2021)
Watchdog Violations crashes whilst browsing.
Lap top freezes then BSOD. On its auto restart there is no visible wifi etc so I have to shutdown and restart again.
This has been happening at least once a week since I bought the machine in September 2021.
I also get an electric shock from the machine if I pick it up whilst it is on charge.
Acer on line asked me to do some restarts and some clean installs etc but no joy at all.

Acer have taken the machine back for repair and replaced the SSD. ( was bugging out on a drive test)
Returned to me last week and surprise surprise after a day or 2 the same has happened again. BSOD watchdog violations.
Have gone through their original suggestions and even installed W11 but no joy
Have reported this and had no response.

My question is, can I now ask for a full refund and return this machine to them?

    Probably not. Since it's still under warranty, about all we can suggest is back up your personal files and do a full erase everything ALT+F10 cold boot reset to a factory fresh state. The make sure System Protection is turned on in ControlPanel's restore point app just in case it's an errant Microsoft update that causing the issue. Also recommend, uninstalling not just disabling, any non-  M icro soft scanners that might be bundled with the OEM setup. These 3 rd party scanners are really no longer needed by most users.

    Cheers for the reply. As said above, ive done the fresh install many times before it went away. Acer will have done it again before and after installing the new hard drive. Ive done it again after the 1st session of BSOD after repair
    Had BSOD both with and without Norton installed and also with and without Advanced System Care which I also use without issue on 2 other W10 machines.
    Not a fan of the chunky Norton.
    Surely if Im within warranty and the machine is not doing what it should, ( including the electric shocks) I should be entitled to a refund?

    Also and as an addition to you alfonsofrisk and to the advice given to you above, please tell us the bsod descriptions e.g. and like; IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL etc etc as whenever you get a bsod you get either a description and/or a stop codes error number. Also read this guide about “How to fix a blue screen of death (BSOD) in Windows” as this explains everything about bsod’s in Windows, which is referred to as and in the term “blue screen of death” and is usually abbreviated as BSOD.

    The bsod describes an error that can be very damaging to the operating system and cause it to crash. Microsoft itself labels such errors as “stop codes.” Therefore, these errors are also commonly referred to as “stop errors.” You can go to Microsoft’s page at “Troubleshoot blue screen errors” as they have a proses that goes though the steps on the link page that might look complicated at first glance, but if you follow them step-by-step and in order, Microsoft will try to solve the bsod fault and get you back on track. But and as your laptop is under warranty and if you have a hardware issue that is causing these bsod’s, then Acer is the only place that can fix and change components so that these bsod’s don’t happen including software issues.
