Swift SF314-51 model N16P5 No Power Up

Battery drained one day wnd Windows shutdown with a CMOS message that "battery is critically low" and it powered down. There used to be a blinking from the amber battery led 4 times when power key pressed.  That doesn't happen anymore. When connected to charger I can hear a microswitch clicking on and off coming from the connector location on the side of the laptop.
I've tried resetting battery per instructions on this website but nothing.
Can anyone help me trouble shoot this? Is there a likely fail point?

When a lithium-ion battery gets too low there is internal circuitry that disables charging. That was how they stopped them from catching fire and exploding a number of years ago. The Critical Low message typically is set to 5% and the charge disable point is closer to 3%. It sounds like your dropped below the threshold and needs to be replaced. :(
The Acer part number for your battery is: KT.00403.032, KT.00403.040 or KT.0040G.006, they sourced them from several vendors but all three of those are the same spec.

    Hi @afcal72,

Are you getting any light indication when charger is connected.
