How to enable/disable cores in BIOS? Aspire 5 A515-45

I have a Aspire 5 A515-45 with the AMD Ryzen 5500u variant and BIOS options seem very limited.

Is there a way to enable or disable physical cores and/or SMT?

Thanks!

Only if ACER authorized hidden options are revealed by pressing Ctrl+S in the tabs. Otherwise undocumented BIOS modifications would likely be required..

    That's too bad.

I have a Lenovo mini-pc with a much richer BIOS with a lot of tweaking options to choose from.

Is "Ctrl+S" really the only way to make hidden options available to the end user?

Yes, only the ACER authorized hidden options. Mini desktops for all major consumer brands usually have far more options than non-gaming laptops primarily because they aren't under the same physical & thermal limitations.
