I have my Acer Aspire 5 A515-52 which recently had a problem where it prompts a "no bootable device found" message appeared. I thought it has to do with the hard disk. The boot priority order seems to empty. I've tried to put back my old HDD but then again, nothing changed. I've tried to disable the secure boot to check if there is a legacy mode but there was none and I've tried to enable f12 to select where to boot but it is empty too. I can send my laptop right now to a technician due to the lockdown in our area and I need to use my laptop as soon as possible. Please help me solve this problem, been looking for some answers over the internet but it seems that I have a bigger problem.

What is typically shown there is the Windows Boot Manager. When you use the F12 boot menu Windows Boot Manager will give options for every UEFI device that's connected. If you see nothing then likely the drive has problems, invalidating the EFI files on the boot partition. That can be caused by a failing drive or a corrupted EFI boot partition or file. The corruption could potentially be caused by malware, but it has to be pretty advanced malware in order to get past the safety checks. Use a Windows install flash drive and boot to the diagnostic command prompt, then use diskpart to look at the drives, volumes and partitions.
