I recently purchased the following model: Swift 3 SF314-43-R7ZF with Windows 11 Home preloaded.
I am very happy with the PC except for one very annoying thing that often causes me serious damage.
I do scientific computing and astrophotography where there is no electricity so battery life is important.
The notebook WHEN IT HAS EXACTLY 30% REMAINING CHARGE sets the CPU speed to 0.4Ghz and maximum utilization to 19%. The machine thus becomes very slow and cannot run my telescope control software correctly which CANNOT BE INTERRUPTED except with serious damage so I cannot restart the OS.
If I insert the charger, the speed returns to normal.
I have made the following unsuccessful attempts and checks:
-Reset the battery as per manual
-Done the discharge-charge cycles as per manual
- Reinstalled Windows 11
-Installed Windows 10 with all updates and also the Acer energy management plan (Acer.pow)
-Check that it has the latest BIOS version
Below 30% charge, rebooting into the BIOS settings is also very slow.
I ask for help from the community, if I do not have to solve the problem, I will ask the seller for a full refund because that 30% charge is essential for me.

You need to reconfigure your power options. Under the plan you wish to use go to the advanced options and look through the possibilities. They are different for different plans, but they normally have a minimum setting, try dropping that from 30% to something lower, but don't go below something like 15% or so or else you'll end up going directly into one of the more critical modes.
