I put my laptop to sleep this morning (closed the lid) and left it charged at the mains. When I got home I opened up the lid an tried pressed the power on but it wouldn't turn on? The blue light above the battery symbol is on so I know it is fully charged. The light doesn't even come off when I unplug the cord.

I've seen suggestions about resetting the battery on different posts through a small pin hole but I don't think my model comes with that feature? Its the AN51753-53r6, model no: N20C2.
Ayn suggestsions on what i could do? Ive tried holding the power button down, unplugging it....

Any advice would be appreciated :)

    Hi @Itseverythingtome,

If your laptop won't power on, even when it's plugged in could have a faulty power supply, battery, motherboard, video card or RAM. ... Check the laptop's battery and power connector to make sure the connection hasn't come loose. If it's still not turning on, it could be a problem with an internal component.
