Can I use 2x4gb DDR3L-1600 RAM on my Acer Aspire 4745?

I was wondering if I can upgrade my Aspire 4745 from 3GB RAM to 8GB RAM, the only 4GB abd 8GB DDR3L ram on the market are all DDR3L-1600,so can I upgrade it?

    @ArhamZarif DDR3L might work with 1st Gen Intel Core i series(not 100% sure). It is just same as DDR3 but have lower voltage.

    No, you cannot use DDR3L RAM, as the original RAM is a DDR3 type. Since DDR3 and DDR3L use different voltages, it will not boot with mixed RAM sticks.

    There are different sub-models of Aspire 4745G, do not know which one that you have. Assuming you have the one same as this link:

    This one has 4 GB RAM as maximum. 

    Generally speaking, people should upgrade RAM matching the original RAM stick.

    Check the Memory section of the Performance tab under Task Manager see how fast your current RAM is running.
