Why would you like to replace it? Did something happen? Do you want to replace it with a similar motherboard or something else?

The motherboard can be removed. If 630g is anything like PO3-620 which I had, the mobo is attached to the case with 6 screws. Then on the middle-right side of the board there is this silvery color metal piece (two screws) that covers the front I/O. On the right upper corner is the headphone stand (2 screws) that has to go too.

Here's the 620's mobo, which I suppose is pretty similar with yours. At least you can locate where the screws are.

Yes I want to replace it in the future so I can fit a 12th gen Intel cpu and fit a 30 series gpu I think ports are attached to the motherboard I wonder is there I find front panel ports to fit in the case so it can be separate

Even if the cases are physically identical, it might be really difficult to find a newer board that supports 12th gen CPU. Besides, there's no guarantee that the front I/O (USB, audio) are exactly in the same place.

Can you list the components incl. PSU wattage and exact model number of your current PC? Maybe then someone can offer you better help and insights.

If you currently have an 11th gen Intel CPU, the difference compared to 12th gen will not be that big. Therefore I would not worry about this, especially when you mentioned earlier that you wanted to change the motherboard in the future.

Why do you want to change your PSU? Your PSU can power 30-series cards, so there is no need to replace it. My po3-620 had 10th gen CPU, RTX 3070 and 500W PSU. I see no reason why your PSU would not be sufficient for GPUs like 3060, 3060 Ti and 3070. Maybe even 3070 Ti, but I'm not sure.

I know that nVidia recommends more powerful PSU, but Acer uses supplies that are following a new ATX12VO standard and can't be compared head-to-head with the old ones. Gamer's Nexus article about the differences.

Hope someone else chimes in as well.

Likely the newer systems (I'm going to guess at model numbers, but maybe PO3-640?) will use very close to the same motherboard format. They are DTX boards with the diving board added to keep cabling to the minimum for those front ports. You can, of course, drop anyone else's motherboard in as long as they meeting the DTX (and potentially uATX) form factor, but either without the front ports or with very creative cabling.

No, they are still on the 630 design, a future 640 will likely be 13th gen Intel instead.

    Yes, they just haven't called it a PO3-640. :) 12th gen, not 13th, that might be a 650 for 2023...
