Recently I have been having an issue where even though the charger is connected to the laptop, the battery does not charge. It is stuck at whatever percentage the laptop discharged to while on battery. Moreover, the laptop refuses to boot when this issue occurs and there is a usb device connected to the USB port with power-off charging. Both issues go away when I power reset the laptop but then come back after a few days. I am thinking this might be a battery issue. Been 2 years now since I bought the laptop. Should I contact Acer for a battery replacement? Or could it be a different hardware issue altogether?

Model : Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54
OS: Windows 10

Generally batterys are not covered by any warranty as they are classed as consumables (which i hate!) , but it may be worth getting in contact with acer if its not charging properly and its still under warranty

    Hi @rishabh2011,

Are you getting any light indication when charger is connected.
