I have a nitro 7 AN715-51.
I am trying to install pop os as dual boot. I can successfully install it but after installing the OS, I am unable to open the Bios menu. It's only showing a white dad at top left.

I have been able to install different OSs for quite a long time and it's only happening recently. I have tried resetting the PC and the bios still start to work again. But after installing popos again, the bios gets locked up again.

I am able to use f12 and change bootloader but I still want to use bios to change the boot order

Also popos doesn't come with grub installed by default like ubuntu so I don't think grub is causing any problems.

If you are using dual os and if you are using windows 10 along with pop os..

If tapping f2 while turning on the computer is not taking you to Bios screen then follow the steps given below:

If you are using dual operating system then login to windows

    Try windows + x
click on shutdown - it will show you sleep , shutdown, restart
Hold the shift key and click on restart
It will take you to chose an option, continue, troubleshoot
go to troubleshoot - click on advanced options
chose uefi  - click on restart
It will take you to bios..
