Sudden FPS Drops while playing heavy games... how to fix?

So, from around 3-4 months back, whenever i start playing games like valorant, terraria etc the game runs smooth for around 2-3 minutes and then it suddenly drops fps to around 5-10 fps which makes the game very laggy and not suitable to keep playing, then after a minute or so it automatically gets back to initial state and dont lag at all, after 3-4 minutes again the lag spike occurs and keep happeing through out i play the game. Its like 3-4 minutes of good game, 1 minute of lag, 3-4 minutes of good game, 1 minute of lag and repeat. I have tried a lot of things to solve, but nothing was working from my side. hope to get response
