Hi!

1 week ago my laptop's battery started to draining faster. When I'm not doing heavy work my laptop would stay on battery power for 3-4 hours, but from 1 week ago it suddenly reduced to around 45 mins and now it's not charging. It all happened so fast and I'm really confused. I tried battery resetting, but it didn't workout. It's almost 3 years since I bought this laptop. What's this matter? Should I replace the battery? What should I do?

Model: Acer Aspire E15

Hope you would answer my question. Thanks!

If the fully charged battery capacity is significantly lower than the designed capacity, then it is time to replace battery.

Batteries typically lose about 10-20% capacity per year. Your battery's manufacturing date was probably ~4 years ago for this model. So the expected capacity loss would be between 40%- 80%. Your  battery report suggests 70% loss. So it's still within the expected capacity-loss range.

Normally I will not expect laptop battery to last more than four to five years. For your case, it is little early but not by too much.

Shut down Windows normally with charger still plugged in. Does battery charge LED turn from steady orange to steady blue after about 4 hours?

Your battery  needs to be replaced. Google e5-576g & battery for vendors who ship to your location. Price is about $30usd.

From the battery report, we can see fully charged battery capacity is significantly lower than the designed capacity, it is time to replace the battery. @JackE found the battery for you.

I played video games for longer hours. That might be a reason for battery dead, 'cause whenever I start playing laptop's temperature increases
