Hello,

In September this year I went and Got the Acer nitro 5 gaming laptop it works well and does what it needs to do but sometimes when i have my gpu and cpu set on auto by nitro sense it goes to 0 and takes time to start again, and when it does start again it always at 1500 CPU and 1800 GPU now i dont think my too PU'S are broken in anyway because Custom still works normally but I wanted to ask a professional about this from the Acer Work Space Thank You!

@TheOnlyعli so the Nitro Sense usually show fans at 0RPM and starts to run after few moments. But now the fans always start at ~1600RPM right?

This does not happen all the time but now it is starting too Yes It starts 0RPM then the cpu jumps to 1500-1600 then the gpu stays at 1800-1900.

@TheOnlyعli that's mostly normal. This will depend on the surrounding temperature, amount of apps that are installed.

@TheOnlyعli it means that the GPU is in idle state. It will shows temperature and usage percentage when you play games.

I also forgot to add something else, when i do turn on my Laptop it will start as 0 then go to 1600-1800 then goes back to 0 once more then goes back to 1600-1800 but if i do custom everything runs okay expect for the gpu idle thing

@TheOnlyعli it is because when you turn the laptop on, some background apps are starting and make the CPU heats up a bit. The fan cools it down and stops after the CPU temp goes down the set range. It is normal that this procedure keep repeats itself.

Are you sure this is correct?

@TheOnlyعli yes, mine does this also and it doesn't really matter much.
