How to determine compatible SSDs for Aspire A515-51-89up

So I have a

Aspire A515-51-89up

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz   1.99 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.88 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Windows 10

1) Planning to upgrade to 20MB RAM
2) From above, it sounds like the laptop has a m.2 slot, but I can't find any documentation one way or the other in the owner's manual, can anyone confirm this?
3) What else do I need to know to make sure a specific SSD is compatible with the system?
Hoping to install 1TB and keep the Hard Drive as extra storage

The Aspire A515-51-89UP takes a max of 20GB RAM (4GB RAM on board + 16GB upt to DDR4-2400MHz, 1.2V  DDR4 SODIMM 260 Pin into its 1x slot) but, its best to run the Crucial System Scanner that will give you all the memory and SSD drive upgrades for your A515-51 that Crucial makes, as the Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU max Memory Types is DDR4-2400 whch Acer suggests.

Looks like a NX.GSYAA.001. These notebooks should have a door on the bottom for a 2.5" 7mm SATA HDD and may be replaced by a similar SSD. The Acer SSDs come with cloning software needed to make the replacement bootable.

Thank you. I ran the Crucial System Scanner, and they only suggested SATA drives, but when I cracked the case I see a M.2 slot as in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4Q6UiAy2cU ... any thoughts on how to determine what kinds of M.2 drives would be compatible?

I have one opinion saying this looks like a M.2 NVMe. Anyone able to confirm? any other specs I need to watch out for to match with this device?

    Hi,
Yes, you can use a M.2 NVMe SSD in your model, the slot is same for both NVMe SSD and SATA SSD in laptops.

Whatever SSD you buy make sure it comes with cloning software. Some don't.
