Can you add a GPU to a TC-875-UR15?

I got a new ASUS GeForce® GTX 1050Ti 4GB GPU to install in the TC-875-UR15. The GPU card specs say the recommended power supply is 300W (https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards-Components/Graphics-Cards/Phoenix/PH-GTX1050TI-4G/techspec/). With the GPU card installed, the ACER won't boot, can't even get to the bios. The CPU and GPU fans spin, but at a reduced speed. Removing the new GPU card the PC boots ok. In the BIOS Advanced settings I see there are settings for onboard graphics, but there is no way to select or change them. Can I install a GPU card on this computer? Is the power supply too small for the GPU, even though the GPU specs say a 300W PSU is ok?

Thanks.

Is the graphics card from Zotac? I have heard the incompatibility problems from Zotac cards. 300W should be O. K. for GTX 1050-ti. Heard people installed that without problem. Does the card has PCIe power connectors on it?
