My Acer Predator Triton 300 Shut Off Randomly And Now Won't Turn On

It just randomly happened a few minutes ago. It was unplugged and had 85% power left. It shut off all of a sudden and I have tried turning it on and all that happens is the blue light flashes 5 times and then stops.

I do not have the power pack on me at the moment, should it be OK after I am able to connect to power and hit power button? I have had the laptop for over 1 year but less than 2. I am unable to provide serial as it has been rubbed off from use  :# 

Any help.or thoughts would be very appreciated!

    Does a battery reset work? (its a long shot but worth a try), there will either be a little dot on the bottom you can press in with a pin, or if the lappy doesnt have one of those tou just hold down the power switch for 20 seconds

    No I have already tried this and it didn't work. Hopefully when I get home and plug it in it might sort itself out. It has an built in battery so there is no pinhole but I already held power button down for 30 seconds.
