Hi All,

As the titles says i very recently bought myself an Acer Nitro 5 (2021) AN515-57-79XT WIN10, the first few weeks i had no issued at all, played a few games, mostly just to test performance but for the most part just used the laptop for web browsing / e-reading. Over the weekend i was downloading a game and i noticed it had been hanging for sometime, that's when i realised the machine had crashed, as windows would not respond to keyboard or mouse commands and the clock had also froze, no BSOD, no error reports. I turned the machine off and back on again and it resumed as normal, since then its crashed 6-8 times in the last few days, exactly the same way, each time windows boots it acts as it had just been restarted, no repair screen ect.

The crashes seem to occur when idle or browsing the web ect, with nothing really under load, AV installed is Kaspersky and a full scan turned up no results. Checked Windows Event Viewer and there's no issues recorded that i can find, checked reliability history and it recognises that windows had an error causing an unexpected shutdown and another saying hardware error, but has no error code and does not seem to detail the problem, please see screenies attached.

While typing this the laptop once again crashed forcing me to continue this on my PC instead.

Other than windows updates the only thing ive done is limit max CPU usage in power options from 100% to 99% to prevent Intel turbo boost as this seem to cause an overheating problem when enabled.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help resolve the issue.
