Hi, I want to upgrade my prebuilt Nitro N50-600 eb-11 to a gtx 1060 3 gb but I am unsure if it's too bulky for my case or can't fit in the motherboard.

PC SPECS

GPU GTX 1050 2 GB
CPU I5-8400
RAM 8 GB
STORAGE WD BLACK SSD 500 GB /1TB TOSHIBA HDD

Thanks!

1060 I want to upgrade to: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-GeForce-Dual-Fan-Graphics-DUAL-GTX1060-O3G/dp/B01KMVHB6M

The top spec Nitro N50-600 came with as high a GPU's spec as the RTX-2080 8GB or the RTX 2070 8GB which both had the 750W PSU. If you want to upgrade to the GTX-1060 3GB then and if you have the 300W PSU? It will be adequate and it will work. If you want to upgrade to the 500W PSU’s (which I would suggest) their Acer part numbers are: DC.5001B.004 or the DC.50018.007.

I believe I have a 400 W PSU. Sorry but I didn't really understand the rest of what you said. Just to summarize could it fit in the PC?

If you have a 400W PSU (which is not an Acer supplied OEM PSU) then make sure that your 400W PSU has the 6-4 pin PCIe power cable to fit into the GTX-1060 for it to work, also the GTX-1060 should fit into that space as other cards bigger fitt into that space. But, its easy to find out the measurements of the GTX-1060, look it up from the manufacturer where you want to buy the new card from and then compare that space to the max space that you have in your case, it’s a very simple procedure! What I meant in the opening is that the mobo of your N50-600 will work with the GTX-1060 as it works with the RTX-2080 cards that are of a higher spec and power requirements.

One of the OEM GPU's as it sits in its PCIe slot and in the case of the N50-600 and in the motherboard.
