CPU cooling issues Orion 3000 RTX 3060ti Any tips?

Just picked up my predator and from day one I had overheating issues from normal usage. Up to 90 degrees on the cpu before the frequency would drop causing lag in display. I saw some mods in the forums and decided to go with the noctua system.  Upon removing the old cpu cooler, it was found that the paste wasn't covering the entire cpu.    :/  :/

We installed the new CPU cooling component  Noctua NH-U9S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-A9 92mm Fan (Brown) After, removed the RGB pre-installed rear fan and moved it to the roof acting as a second exhaust while adding the Noctua NF-A9 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (92mm, Brown)  in slot as the rear exhaust. The preinstalled rgb and new nocta rear fan run off a y split with a frequency reducing filter attatchment for the rgb fan.

After this instillation we saw a huge decrease in our cpu temps (it helps that the cpu is fully covered in paste and in full contact with our sink) to pretty acceptable levels. We can still hit cpu 70 degrees streaming with obs, auido interface and multi platforms but the internal comp temps stay low.  If anyone has tips, experiences or other slight mods that have found to help cooling effeciency in these builds or have questions about the mods i've done let me know.

Hey, i am new also to this sub and recently gotten the same rig as you i imedetially upgrade my cpu cooler to noctua as soon as possible and i recently got extra fan also. May I ask what attachment you need to attach in the top to hold the fan?

If you remove the front panel and then the one on the top, you'll find metal mesh underneath it. I suppose OP screwed the extra fan on that. Some have used regular cable ties. Unfortunately the airflow will be very really restricted because there is metal mesh and then plastic grill on top of that.

Better airflow can be achieved if the metal meshes blocking the intake and exhaust fans are removed (Dremel). If you are not using that HDD cage/bracket, I'd remove it altogether.

Here's something I did while I still had PO3-620. I'm not suggesting anyone to do this, but it can be done. For a while I had an additional top exhaust fan there as well, but it made hardly any difference in temps in my case.
