Problem with computer shutting off when not charging Acer E5

Hi there, first time posting here. Hoping someone can diagnose what is wrong with my pc. I have an Acer E5 running on Windows 10. So there are several things occurring on my comp and I have no idea how to determine what is going on. Thought it might be CMOS battery? But here is what happens:

1. Computer turns off when not charging.
2. When I try to turn it on, sometimes it gets stuck in a loop at the Acer screen. If I hit F2, that usually gets it to load Windows.
3. However, once Windows loads the mouse is very glitchy, clicks on things that I did not command, unresponsive, etc.
4. Lastly, the other strange occurrence is that when I play video or music is that the sound is interrupted by short, buzzing sounds, *bzzt.* It interrupts the sound constantly, about every couple seconds. Sometimes it goes away on its own but I have absolutely no idea why.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The first thing that a consumer can do is to take the battery out as this resets the laptop and the BIOS, if that doesn’t work then do a reset while the laptop has the battery inserted by inserting a paper clip into the hole at the base of the laptop to force the computer to turn off, as it could be a battery problem and/or you need to replace battery? If all that does nothing then it could be an internal charging port issue or an internal charging circuitry issue(s) that have shorted out and/or burnt out and they need diagnosing by an experienced tech who has the proper tools. Don’t try to fix things yourself, as you will do more damage than anything to fix these issue(s).

Thanks Steven, I will give that a shot and see if the problems persist.
