I recently bought a Nitro EDO series-ED270U. And when i first turned on the power, a line appeared on the screen but disappeared after 1/2 hrs. But when I turned it off and back on the line appeared again.
I don't know if its temporary faulty or is it going to be permanent.
Should I return the product?
Or
Is there any fix I can work on

We need to determine whether it is a monitor related issue or computer related issue or a cable related issue..

Try to connect the monitor to a different computer and check..    Try to use alternative cables if possible..    Using the control buttons on the monitor you can also do a reset.  You can also do a power drain test on monitor.   Unplug all the cables.   Press the power button on monitor for 1 minute.   Connect all the cables back..   Turn on the monitor and check.    Also try to connect the monitor to a different power outlet and check.   Try to bypass the surge protector and connect it directly to power outlet and check.

Try to unplug the cable between monitor and computer.   Try to plug it back and check..   Try to use an alternative cable and check..

We need to determine whether it is a hardware or software issue..   Turn off the computer.   Tap f2 key ( for laptops and del key for Desktops ) while turning on the computer if it is connected to laptop.    If the monitor is connected to desktop tap del while turning on the computer.    It will go to bios.   Please stay on the bios screen for 30 mins.    If the display is looking good on bios then it is a software issue.   If the display is not looking good on the bios screen then it is a hardware issue.

If it is a software issue try the following the steps..

    Try windows x
    go to device manager
    expand display adapter
right click on display driver - uninstall
    Restart the computer

    It should work fine..

If it is still not working
Uninstall the display adapter from device manager
    Don’t restart the computer.
    Go to support.acer.com
    chose your country
type snid or chose your model
    go to drivers
    Install the display driver

    It should work fine..

If you are facing the same issue when you connnect the monitor to a different computer.

If your device is in warranty you can contact the warranty dept.     Go to the website support.acer.com - chose your country.   On the new page - scroll down -  click on "contact support".  Scroll down.  You can find the phone no to contact the warranty dept.

If it is out of warranty, please contact local store or

Go to the website support.acer.com - chose your country.   On the new page - scroll down -  Click on  "Repair My Acer" - Request to have your Acer product repaired.   There will be charges for repair.

It could be a cabling issue, but more likely is a problem with the monitor itself. If it has been a short enough time just have the vendor swap it out for another. If it's been too long for that then contact Acer support to get a ticket started. You can try a different cable, and try routing the cables so you can't pick up electrical noise as easily, but I think you will end up finding that the issue is hardware with that symptom.
