Hi!! How are you guys?? All good?
I need a help! My Ryzen 5 3500u is running with extreme low clocks, between 1.2ghz to 2.2ghz! My laptop is a Aspire A315-42G with a Ryzen 5 3500u CPU.
In indle, my CPU runs at the base clock (2.7ghz). But if I try to do anything heavy, like gaming or do a light render, my CPU clock goes down pretty hard to 2.1 and 2.2ghz, but most of the time it keeps between 1.3 and 1.7ghz
This problem is more noticeable when gaming. I tried to play CSGO (with low settings at 720p) and the game starts above 90fps, a few moments later I'm playing at 25fps.
It looks A LOT like thermal throttling, but I'm using a cooler pad for my laptop and the temperatures hardly exceeds 79C(174F). I started to do stress tests and noticed that, when my CPU hits 75C(165F), the wattage goes really low and the clock goes bellow 2.0ghz (normally goes to 1.7ghz). And keeps low for a long period of time

I was searching the web and found some threads with people with the same problem, but in older Ryzen. When their CPU was hitting 75C, the clock goes down pretty hard. Maybe is something that ACER should fix with a BIOS update! But they posted the last update (for my laptop) last year, and there were no performance related BIOS upgrade for my laptop.
Also, I know that U CPU's aren't for gaming. But even light gaming it should run. And there's Nitro laptops with the same CPU or older U models (like the 2200u). Also, gaming laptops where I live, is REALLY expensive, my beautiful potato already was expensive
My specs:
Aspire 3 A315-42G-R6FZ
CPU: Ryzen 5 3500u
GPU: Vega 8 (integrated) / Radeon 540X (dedicated)
RAM: 16gb (2x8gb dual channel)
BIOS: Insydeh20 1.11 (last one available)
Windows 10 PRO
Thanks a lot!!!!!

Also, sorry about my english. It is not my first language.
