Headphones Issue Swift 3 SF314

Hello, I recently just got a Swift 3 Laptop - SF314; about 3 days ago. Just last night I recently started experiencing issues regarding audio with headphones.  Now today, my headphones jack is on the right side, and every time I inserted it would open a prompt asking what I inserted. However, today I noticed that even doing that continues to play sound through the rear output and nothing through the front headphones.

Also, another thing to note, though I have only tried with one application at the moment, is that when I try to test my microphone and speakers, it would glitch out and freeze at a certain point. This was followed by being unable to hear myself. The only options I have is either same as the system and Realtek(R) Audio. 

If anyone knows any possible solutions please let me know, thank you.

After tinkering around I found it does connect when I choose in the prompt "speakers out". So, that's interesting.
