Acer Nitro AN515-54 not charging

I have a Acer Nitro AN515-54 that I use for gaming, When I try to charge it with the OEM charger, I have to twist it a certain way for it to charge, Then I could not charge it at all. I tried to use another charger but it kept turning on and off and not charging. If anyone has a fix for this, please reply to this Question.

We need to determine whether it is a charger issue or port related issue on the laptop..   


If your laptop is in warranty you can contact the warranty dept.     Go to the website support.acer.com - chose your country.   On the new page - scroll down -  click on "contact support".  Scroll down.  You can find the phone no to contact the warranty dept. 

If it is out of warranty, please contact local store or  please visit the website - support.acer.com - chose your country - click on shop.   Alternatively,  on the top right corner you can find the phone no to contact Acer store.   They will provide you a charger which is designed for your computer. 

Try to get a charger which is designed for your computer.    If the computer is working fine with the new charger which is designed for your computer then the old charger is gone bad otherwise it is a port related issue..

Acer Nitro systems that have the AC adapter connection on the back use an improved AC adapter connection that helps secure the AC adapter. The adapter may feel like it is fully inserted, but requires a secondary push to fully seat the connection. You should hear a slight click when the AC adapter is fully inserted. Once the adapter is connected, make sure you orient it horizontally so it does not interfere with tilting this display as shown in the image below.
