second monitor - Nitro 5

I have a Nitro 5 laptop and have added a second monitor through the HDMI port.  The monitor had a DVI connector and I am using a DVI to HDMI converter.  I have extended the display but the second monitor has thousands of tiny, green pixels all over it (think matrix green).  I've tried changing resolutions and checked for any updated drivers (there were none.  Has anyone else encountered this and is there a fix or am I doing something wrong?

@RobYuricic the problem might be from DVI to HDMI converter or the ports. Try to connect the laptop with an HDMI monitor/TV for testing or use a different cable.

    Hi @RobYuricic,

Are you getting the same issue when you connect the second monitor as a first monitor.
