My refurbished Acer Aspire 5 is already broken right out of the box...

It's been on for maybe 5 minutes and already the display is flickering, cutting off, getting pixelated, and distorting images. I got this laptop because my previous laptop (Acer Nitro 5) literally physically fell apart one day for no reason. The frame of the plastic screen came off and all the parts from the inside have started getting loose. This company literally manufactures the world's worst and cheapest laptops. I have no money so I could only afford a refurbished laptop from Best Buy and of course it had to be another Acer...was so excited to finally have a working laptop again, and then this happens. I now have two broken Acers in the house. This is a WARNING TO EVERYONE: DO NOT EVER BUY A REFURBISHED ACER LAPTOP AND DON'T BUY ANY ACERS EVER FOR THAT MATTER! Plus you have to PAY to online chat with support? Worst company in the world. I can't believe the laptop I just spent almost $1000 on is broken right out of the box. What an aboslute ripoff!

princejaytham, don’t be so negative and abusive as what you are saying is NOT TRUE! You must have abused your product as what you are saying does not just happen! Parts don’t just fall off and/or fall apart, all these things can be fixed as this is very rare and you must be exaggerating! You mustn’t have made taken these laptops to Acer to be fixed under warrany (if this happened?) and/or made any attempts to fix them. If you have any knowledge of computers then you would have either sent these products to Acer to be fixed and/or fixed them yourself, so that is what I suggest that you do as its not that drastic! Acer products are very reliable and lasting. Btw, I’m using an Acer Aspire V3-571G laptop that is 9 years old and never ever had any problems with it and this laptop has been upgraded to SSD, 16GB RAM and a higher spec CPU and it performed/performs perfectly from its "Get Go" and from its OEM MBR BIOS upgraded to a UEFI BIOS and its OS of Win-7 upgrades to Win-8 and 8.1 and now with Win-10 Pro.

Immediately return it to BestBuy as defective for a refund or exchange. Do it now before BestBuy's return merchandise authorization period expires. Usually only a few weeks.
