TravelMate P215-52G Windows 10 64-bitDrivers:

Intel (R) UHD Graphics

NVIDSA GeForse MX230

The laptop has two ports:

1. HDMI

2. VGA

I have two Samsung S22A350H monitors that can work in HDMI mode and VGA mode.

Question: When the monitor is connected to the VGA port, the monitor works normally.

When another monitor is connected to the HDMI port, the monitor connected to the VGA port stops seeing the signal

but the monitor connected to HDMI works normally.

Can my laptop transmit signals on both (HDMI and VGA) ports at the same time?

If so, what needs to be done?

P.S.

There is another USB-C port, but I did not connect to it.

Thanks!

I am not completely sure, but it looks like both the HDMI port and the VGA port are the same internally, with a demuxer between them. That would tend to show the symptoms you see, only one port at a time working. To connect two independent monitors would require one connected to either the HDMI or VGA and the second connected to the USB-C with a USB-C to HDMI cable or a USB dock that provides an HDMI or VGA connection.

I’ve got 2 screens Samsung S22A350H, that are able to be used in HDMI mode and  VGA mode.

The question is – after the connecting to VGA port with the turned on screen the screen works properly.
When I connect another screen to the HDMI port, the there is no picture on the VGA screen from my device, but there is a picture on my HDMI screen.
Could my laptop peers (shares?)  the signal via both my ports (VGA and HDMI) at the same time (simultaneously)?
If yes what should I do?

PS I also have another USB-C port but I haven’t tried to connect via it.
