Almost brand new..When connected to charger it auto stops charging at 80%..is this correct ? The user manual bangs on about acclimatising the battery at the outset but it seems to me that if the restriction of 80%..down to the current advisory warning to re-connect charger at 20% then that is only utilising 60% of the batteries capacity and will result in more charging cycles...not less.
As far as I'm aware it never attained 100% on it's first initial charge. (though the orange charging light went off)
Ive sent a mail to an Acer technician and received a response (with a link) suggesting there's a fault and to arrange to send it back...but im not sure they haven't mis-interpreted what Im getting at because everywhere I look on the net..this 80% topic is discussed ad infinitum.
Could anyone shed some light on this ,as i'm loathe to send it back if avoidable..thanks

    Hi @blanky,

    # Try to update the battery driver

    1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
    2. Choose the device manager option.
    3. Go with the option battery.
    4. Under the title battery.
Update Battery Drivers in Windows EASILY - Driver Easy
    5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title battery.
    6. Choose "search automatically".

Check this T/S and post the result.

Thanks i have sent you a PM on a much more infuriating situation.. I have lost wi-fi connectiveity but the hub is fine..
Btw you can adjust the charging upper limit via the Acer Care Centre because I used it...but for reasons Ive tried to explain in another message, ive now 'lost' the care centre app
