Hi there, i recently was gifted an acer nitro 5(AN517-52)and was wondering if the hdd could upgrade?

It's the Seagate BarraCuda 2TB Internal Hard Drive HDD – 2.5 Inch SATA 6Gb/s 5400 RPM 128MB Cache for Computer Desktop PC. Would it work?

    The best is to use the "Crucial System Scanner" as that will give you all the SSd drive and memory upgrades for your model. The AN517-52 can take 1x 2.5" spinner HDD and/or a 2.5" SSD drive at 6GB/sec and can also thake 2x M.2  PCIe Gen.3x4 NVMe SSD drives. So do the Crucial scan aas that will give you exact details for your ypgrade. 

    Here are the Acer suggested 2.5" spinner HDD's and M.2 SSD's

    M.2 PCIe Gen.3x4
