Trackpad has 2 left clicks Aspire 3 a315-23

I've had this problem for quite a while now. The precision touchpad on my Acer Aspire 3 a315-23 performs a left click on both the left and right sides of the touchpad. I'm running Linux Pop!_OS

but this problem started when I was running Windows 10. I tried resetting my Laptop, fully erasing the files etc. But still the problem persisted. When I try to click on the right side, the laptop perofrms a left click. It isn't inverted, only 2 left clicks instead of a left click on the left side and a right click on the right side. If anyone knows any fixes on this please help.

(1) Did you install Linux along side Windows?

(2) Did you turn off fast boot before installing Linux?

(3) Right side should only have a single tap context menu function unless reversed.

No, I only have 1 operating system on my laptop. And that is pop os.

Yes, I turned it off before installing.

# Try to update the mice and other pointing device driver

1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
2. Choose the device manager option.
3. Go with the option mice and other pointing device driver.
4. Under the title mice and other pointing device driver.
​
5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title mice and other pointing device driver.
6. Choose "search automatically". 

Check this T/S and post the result. ​
