    Hello all,

I have a similar issue that started happening recently but in a bit different setup.

I have RTX 3080, and Acer Predator X34.

The screen blacks out and come back again in 1 sec in two situations below:

1.) when I try to plug a USB device (It could be a USB stick, connection of my Logitech driving wheel, etc...)
2.) or, it happens randomly and very rarely. (ie. while playing a game, again the screen blacks out, and comes back again in 1 sec. later)

Right now, the screen runs on a DP, with 3440*1440 resolution @120 Hz. with G-sync enabled.

What could be the solution to this strange issue? It is not bothering me a lot now, but I will not like it if I cannot fix it (or at least find the source of the problem :))

    Hi @hildiri,

    Monitor self test,

    1. Power OFF the unit.
    2. Unplug all the cables.
    3. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
    4. Turn ON the unit and check.

I have been having this problem with my XB323QK for WEEKS now. The monitor self test doesn't fix the issue. There is some serious issue with these monitors that many people are having.

I also experiance this issue on my XB323QK NV...
Running BF2042 in highest settings, 3840x2160@144Hz gives me random screen blackouts. GFX is Asus RTX3090.
I've tried lowering refresh rate from 144Hz to 120Hz but same issue. It finally went away when i lowered the resolution to 2560x1440@120Hz which is kind of disappointing when paying premium for 4K.

So I MAY have found the issue, at least on my end. Are any of you running multiple monitors? While using the monitor alone I NEVER get the black screen bug. If I extend my display across multiple monitors I get the random black screens several minutes to an hour or so later every time! Try only using a single monitor for a while and let me know if that helps. This is looking like it may be an issue with some of the recent Windows updates.
